Trimble Nomad
The new Trimble Nomad packs even more functionality into the most powerful and full featured rugged handheld computer available. The Nomad also features a high resolution sunlight visible VGA display that shows graphics and maps in crisp detail. The Nomad makes it easy to collect, save and transmit data in the field because it's available with so many built-in capabilities. You can use the Nomad's CF and SD slots to add even more devices and storage.
The Nomad meets rigorous military standards for drops, vibration, humidity, altitude and extreme temperatures. It also comes with an IP67 rating, meaning the Nomad is completely sealed against dust and can survive immersion in up to a meter of water for a period of thirty minutes. Every Nomad comes with an 806 MHz processor, 128 MB RAM and a lithium Ion (Li-lon) battery that can work all day without a recharge. The Nomad also includes the latest Windows Mobile software therefore running all the applications you use most.
The unit is supplied with the Farmworks Site Mate (vari-rate application), RAM vehicle mount kit, 12 volt charger and power supply cables, and USB data transfer cable. For those interested in VRA work (vari-rate spread files for fertiliser spreading) the Nomad provides the perfect solution
Trimble CFX-750
The next step up from the Nomad is the Trimble CFX-750 - the newest touchscreen display from Trimble. It offers an affordable guidance, steering and Vari-rate application device for Agriculture. The intuitive touchscreen with crisp sunlight visible graphics make it an easy device to work with.
