Agri-tech visit Netafim Israel
Agri-tech
personnel spent three days in Israel earlier this month at Netafim's
CMT
Headquarters at Kibbutz Magal. The team enjoyed Netafim's First
Class hospitality with the added bonus of a brief break from
the UK's coldest winter for some years. The purpose of the visit
was
to receive advanced training on the Irriwise product that the
company is actively promoting to its client base. Having used Irriwise
for a period of twelve months Managing Director Simon Turner
is
convinced that this provides tomorrow's technology today, giving
Agri-tech and its clients a unique edge over anything else that
is available on the worldwide market.

As
tends to happen with new concepts, users come up with ideas on
how the product could
be further developed and perhaps adapted
for specific uses. One example of this was to introduce an
automatic run-off monitor for soil less growing systems. Whilst
in Israel
Agri-tech together with the Netafim CMT team, held a brain
storming session swapping ideas and discussing further product
development.
It is important to us as a company explains Simon, that we
have full back up and support form the manufacturer and equally
as
important a listening ear regarding ideas and improvements
that could be
made. Encouragingly he goes on to explain we have found just
that in the CMT team at
Issued 28th
January 2009.
