Agri-tech's Continuous Monitoring Solution provides the answer where a high regularity of data is required from remote sites. Self powered by means of solar energy state of the art Capacitance Sensors inserted vertically in to the soil horizon take readings at multi-depths. The readings are collected by a data logger before being sent via GPRS to a remote Server. Agri-tech's team of highly experienced Consultants interpret the information gathered and set plant / soil thresholds together with irrigation advice accordingly which are discussed with the grower. This data is then sent to a web site that the client has exclusive access to via a remote login and password. The data can thus be viewed as frequently as necessary to alter / adjust the irrigation schedule around changes in weather conditions. Agri-tech's team of Concultants make regular site visits during the growing season to verify the data and back up the information gathered with crop and soil inspections.

Neutron Probe:

The Neutron Probe Irrigation Monitoring Service offered by Agri-Tech is a full monitoring package from crop emergence through to harvest of the crop or Autumn dormancy in the case of fruit.The readings are taken on a weekly basis by the same consultant. This enables us to form a partnership with our growers by providing a weekly consultation through the growing season. Each week a reading is taken, and a graphic printout of the soil profile produced clearly displaying the soil moisture deficit, crop daily water use, and how the plant is using water. From this data together with a weather forecast for the area, the consultant is able to predict the crop use for the next week, such that the grower is left with a clear irrigation plan for each area monitored.
